the dream convention

A few years ago, I had a pretty random dream in which I wrote and released an album of chill out tunes under the name ‘the dream convention’. I liked the name so much that when I woke up, I scribbled it on a scrap of paper. I kept that handy for literally years, never really having any idea why. A combination of things have made me dig it out and start to use it… you never know, I might get round to making that album! But in the meantime, here is the first in what I hope will be a series of the kind of music I regard as ‘chill out’ – definitely not ambient, as I do love a beat, but perhaps more ‘head nod’ than ‘feet moving’… hope you enjoy
