the dream convention
A few years ago, I had a pretty random dream in which I wrote and released an album of chill out tunes under the name ‘the dream convention’. I liked the name so much that when I woke up, I scribbled it on a scrap of paper. I kept that handy for literally years, never really having any idea why. A combination of things have made me dig it out earlier this year and start to use it… you never know, I might actually get around to completing that album! But in the meantime, here are the first original tracks from the dream convention over on my Soundcloud… I’m calling this combination of tracks ‘The Level EP’ and I’m already working on more to come, so watch this space
And if you’d like a longer listen, here is the first in what I hope will be an occasional series of the kind of music that has inspired ‘the dream convention’ project – definitely not ambient, as I do love a beat, but perhaps more ‘head nod’ than ‘feet moving’… hope you enjoy.
